植物雌激素与人体健康(2)
植物雌激素的研究已引起学术界的广泛关注,美国食品药物管理局(FDA)已经公开确认长期食用豆类制品对心血管系统有保护作用。由于在抗癌、预防心血管疾病和骨质疏松等方面有着确切的作用,并有很多雌激素不可替代的优点,植物雌激素有着广阔的发展前景。同时,我们仍有许多亟待解决的问题,如植物雌激素大家族中各类化合物的生物活性有何不同,各自作用有何特殊性,其作用机制是什么,治疗剂量的制定,长期服用有什么不良反应等。在研究植物雌激素与人类健康的关系时,从细胞分子水平、动物模型到人体实验、大规模流行病学调查的结果有时不一致,其对疾病的防治作用在某些方面甚至存在较大的争议,实验中植物雌激素用量通常远高于食物中的含量,且使用的种类、纯度、用量、采用的细胞系以及实验条件等均不尽相同,缺乏统一的评价标准,给植物雌激素的研究工作和广泛应用带来一定的困难 [18]。所以迄今为止,国际国内尚无将植物雌激素作为药品上市的产品,均是按保健品销售和推广。目前比较安全的做法是在日常饮食中消费更多的豆类制品,而不擅自应用提纯的植物雌激素。
