     Clouding of potassium ion channel in nerve cell can regulate the neurovascular coupling. This is expressed in mostly in astrocytes where there is initiation of [K+] 0 regulation mechanism. The K+ channels is the pore forming membrane which allow potassium ions to pass through. They sharpen the action potentials of the cell as well as other electrical signals and the control the cell volume, (Tsai et al, 2012). The K+ channel has to differential features: have high rate of ion transportation through them and the ions that pass through the channel, pass down their electrochemical gradient without any input in metabolic energy, (Kim et al, 2018).

    The K+ channels are the most distributed channels found in high percent of living organisms’ cells. These channels constitute to form potassium selective pore which is therefore the spanned-membrane of the cells, (Narayanan et al, 2013). They are responsible for most of the cell functions. This channel selectively and rapidly initiate the process of passing potassium ions down their electrochemical gradient, (Brody, 2014). The main function of K+ channel is to set or reset the resetting potential of cells. In cardio muscle, any delay in or rather malfunctioning of the potassium channel directly affects the action potential duration thus leading to arrhythmias, (Blair et al, 2011). Cancer is a condition where body cells divide abnormally leading to growth of body tumors. Never the less not all genes in the body are associated with cancer, (Kim et al, 2018). The three categories of genes associated with cancer are; proto-oncogenes, tumor suppressors, and the third group contain the DNA repair genes. They are the channels that are involved in maintaining the vascular tone in the body. This channel is responsible for the secretion of hormones in the cells thus any malfunction will causes diseases of trigger tumorigenesis, (Zheng et al, 2016).

    The ion carrier’s relationship with cancer

    The ions carrier, unlike channels, they are not opened simultaneously. They either operate intracellularly or extracellularly where the inner or the outer gate opens allowing molecules through. They have binding sites and when the gates are opened about 100 to 1000 molecules are allowed to pass through the carrier. The carrier proteins are designed in a way they able to group and selectively admit similar substances. Research show that malfunction or defects in ions carriers have direct effect to cells: diseases such cancers, (Turski et al, 2012). In cell biology, masculine organisms operate normally only if the cell nomenclature is in its normal state, (Ravanchi et al, 2010). However, cancer has always proved to be a hindrance in the normal cell processes. The cancerous cells that form body tumors through uncontrolled division will end up into a situation that cannot be reversed if prior cancer screenings for detection are initiated., 百拇医药(Yujia Ji)
