    小猫耐尔

    从前有一只小猫，

    她的名字叫耐尔。

    她穿着漂亮的蓝围嘴

    和一件好看的衬衫。

    there was once a little kitten

    her name was kitty nell

    she had a nice blue pinafore-

    a pretty shirt as well

    但是小猫耐尔在哭。

    看看可怜的耐尔哭得多伤心。

    她哭啊哭啊，为什么我不是

    印地安人呢？为什么？

    but kitty nell was crying

    just see poor nelly cry

    she sobbed and sobbed,why can誸 I be

    an indian,oh why?

    我怎么才能成为印地安人呢？
