摘 要 文献复习老年人便秘的防治和护理，包括调整生活方式、心理治疗、应用灌肠和栓剂、口服药物、温水洗足及中医治疗。预防、合理治疗和护理可减轻便秘带来的严重后果。

    Prevention, treatment and nursing of the elderly constipation

    ABSTRACT This literature reviews the prevention, treatment, and nursing of the constipation of the elderly people, including adjustment of lifestyle, psychotherapy, application of enemas and suppositories, oral medications, warm water foot washing and traditional Chinese medical treatment. Prevention, reasonable treatment and nursing can reduce the severe consequences caused by constipation.
