摘要：目的 探讨美罗培南治疗老年重症社区获得性肺炎的作用与临床疗效。方法 选取2012年1月～2013年7月在本院收治的确诊为CAP的 (≥60岁)68例老年重症肺炎患者，按治疗方法不同随机分为观察组与对照组，其中观察组给予美罗培南治疗，对照组给予头孢三代抗生素治疗。结果 观察组临床治疗有效率优于对照组，其差异具有显著性(P<0.05)，观察组的总有效率为94.1% ，高于对照组的76.4%；观察组的不良反应发生率明显低于对照组。结论 美罗培南治疗在治疗老年重症社区获得性肺炎临床床效果显著，值得在临床领域推广、应用。
