摘要：目的 了解我国西部区域医疗机构配置情况。方法 利用《2012年中国卫生统计提要》等资料，对西部医疗机构分布进行人口、地理统计配置分析。结果 三级、二级医院、城乡基层医院、疾病预防控制中心等资源，重庆等地区地理配置较好，人均较差；西藏等地区地理配置较差，人均较好。结论 我国西部地区医疗卫生机构人均与地理配置不均衡，应兼顾人口、地理等因素，体现卫生服务的公平性和可及性。
