综上所述，胃正常生理状态的调节需要几种关键组织细胞参于，在糖尿病性胃轻瘫的发病过程中，可能存在相关组织细胞功能异常。包括胃外来神经支配异常，Cajal间质细胞受损和胃体肌壁巨噬细胞改变等方面。巨噬细胞可能是引起其他类型细胞潜在损伤的关键细胞类型，可能影响目前糖尿病性胃轻瘫管理，需要进一步研究明确。
