关于艾滋病相关性腹泻涉及的主要脏腑，杨国红等[8]认为艾滋病相关性腹泻的病机关键在于脾虚湿盛，同时认为肺起着机体屏障作用，肺病日久影响到脾，也可引起腹泻，艾滋病腹泻病程长，多呈慢性迁延，脾病日久必然累及肾的功能，认为肾精亏虚，命门火衰，同样可以引起腹泻。因此主张在临床上从肺脾肾3脏着手。贾新亭等[5]则认为艾滋病相关性腹泻多与脾胃肾有关。而此次调查结果显示，艾滋病相关性腹泻涉及到的脏腑主要有脾、肝、肾、胃、肺。
