Application of the the normal group bimaxillary protrusion with lingual active-wing appliance

Abstract: Objective To study the clinical effect of treating the normal group bimaxillary protrusion with lingual active-wing appliance. Methods 31 patients with the normal group bimaxillary protrusion were divided into two groups by subjective requirements of the patient to the appliance.Their SH/MP angle demand between 29°to 40°.two groups were the lingual active- wing and the lip active-wing.All patients were pulling out four of the first premolar for correction.Cephalometric analysis were carried out before and after treatment, the results and the difference of before and after treatment of two groups were analyzed with statistics. Results Sagittal direction:①the adduction of centre incisor on the maxillary and mandible were 4.89mm和3.68mm,and the erection respectively were 16.91°和10.61°.The difference did not significantly change in two groups.②all cases had moved after correction ......
