[摘要]医学美学相关理论与知识技能对于成为整形外科医生有着至关重要的意义。然而医学美学作为“医学”和“美学”的交叉学科，在中国的发展尚处于初级阶段。因此，医学美学教育在整形外科培养体系中未受到足够的重视且教育方法尚在探索。本文意在从医学美学教育的重要性、整形外科医学美学相关理论与知识技能的学习目标、整形外科医学美学的教育现状、整形外科开展医学美学教育的途径探索、医学美学教育的展望五个方面进行论述，探讨医学美学教育的重要性和可行性。
