Abstract
Emotional activities are always accompanied by biological changes. Positive emotions and negative emotions have different biological foundations as a consequence of evolution. The present paper summarized recent research on the brain mechanism of emotion, and discussed existing conclusions and controversies. In the end, we proposed that in the near future, the research on emotion sensitive measure, brain function localization and emotion adjustment will significantly facilitate the understanding of human emotion.
