【摘要】牙周炎是由口腔微生物所引起的牙周支持组织的慢性感染性疾病，经过彻底的基础治疗后，局部的药物辅助治疗牙周病能最大限度地消除致病菌，使牙周炎症得到控制，出现良好的治疗效果。本文就近年来局部治疗牙周炎药物的种类和药物的作用机理进行综述。
