    【摘要】随着现代医学的发展，卫生统计管理已成为一门专业学科，作为医院管理体系中的枢纽，其作用、地位已得到充分肯定。本文阐述了卫生统计在医院发展中的作用，分析了医院卫生统计是医院科学管理医疗工作的依据，同时阐明了卫生统计可以检验管理者的行为，提出了做好医院卫生统计工作的几点措施。
