【Abstract】Objective to investigate the pressure source and the intervention measures of the intern nurse students practicing in infectious disease department. Methods A total of 235 of nurse students during the period of 2009 to 2012 were investigated by inquiry and fill in questionnaire before starting practicing in infectious disease department. Results The main pressure sources were as follows: unfamiliar with environment, fear of contagious diseases, worrying about future career, difficulty in getting along with patients, rigorous demand of tutors, deparment rotation of specific groups, pressure of various examinations and achievement of self-value, et al. Conclusions Strengthen the evaluation of the pressure sources followed by adopting effective measures. Avoiding unnecessary influence on practicing due to mental pressure, thus every nurse student could practice in infectious department happily and joyfully. And healthy and qualified talents will be fostered. ......
