[摘要] 该文主要分析促红细胞生成素对I型糖尿的调控。促红细胞生成素在糖尿病肾病减少的机制以及对糖尿病肾病的保护作用；促红细胞生成素在糖尿病视网膜病变发生发展之间的关系，以及对糖尿病视网膜病变的双向性作用。分析促红细胞生成素的细胞保护，神经保护，抗炎和代谢作用等的多效性，以及未来rEPO可能用于糖尿病及其并发症的治疗。
