[摘要] 目的：分析老年人弥漫性轴索损伤的临床特点，提高对老年人弥漫性轴索损伤的认识。方法：对51例老年人弥漫性轴索损伤进行回顾性分析。结果：老年人弥漫性轴索损伤的典型症状为意识障碍；51例患者中，发生并发症35例(68.6%)，死亡27例(52.9%)，植物生存6例(11.8%)，重残8例(15.7%)，轻残4例(7.8%)，恢复良好6例(11.8%)。结论：老年人弥漫性轴索损伤治疗困难、并发症多、致残率高、死亡率高、预后差。
