[摘要] 溃疡性结肠炎(UC)是一种慢性难治性肠道炎症疾病，其病因尚未明确，临床治疗复杂，严重影响患者生存质量。当代名中医治疗溃疡性结肠炎积累了丰富的临床经验，认为UC发病以脾虚湿蕴为基本病机，涉及气滞、瘀血、痰浊、寒湿、毒疫、伏毒、血热等。证候类型主要有肝郁脾虚证、脾气亏虚证、脾虚湿蕴证、气滞血瘀证、脾肾阳虚证、大肠湿热证、热毒炽盛证等。临床治疗注重将临床分期与辨证论治相结合，消补兼施，内外结合，取得了显著的临床疗效。
