    [摘要] 在全国高校大学英语教学面临困境的大背景下，从通用英语(EGP)向专门用途英语(ESP)转型大势所趋，亦顺应了国家“双一流”建设的潮流。医学院校EGP教师转型ESP势在必行，但面临各种痛点。本文分析了ESP教师的角色和知识构成，并结合某医学院校开展的ESP项目，尝试提出了一种新的ESP转型模式—“互利合作模式”。新的合作模式在EGP教师和专业老师的合作中进行，使双方相互受益，具有较高的可行性，可有效促进EGP教师向ESP转型。

    [Abstract] Against the backdrop of increasing difficulties in college English teaching and of the “Double First-Class” university project in China， it is inevitable to shift from English for general purposes (EGP)-oriented teaching to English for specific purposes (ESP)-oriented teaching. Faced with various pain spots， the college English teachers in medical universities must adapt themselves to the shift. Through an analysis of their role and knowledge and based on an ESP program in a medical university， a new transition mode for college English teachers to be ESP-ready is proposed.
