1 year and 5 years than modified radical mastectomy， and the difference was statistically significant (t=-4.649， -6.489， -4.178， P<0.05). Conclusion Both breast conserving surgery and modified radical mastectomy are effective methods for the treatment of early breast cancer， but breast conserving surgery obviously reduces the trauma to patients， improves the breast cosmetic effect and postoperative quality of life. So it is worthy of clinical attention.
