    [Abstract] Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is one of the most important complications of diabetic patients. With the increasing number of diabetic patients，the prevalence of DN showed a rising trend simultaneously. If DN continues to progress，it will easily develop into end-stage renal disease (ESRD). Because of the complex metabolic disorder of DN，the treatment will be more difficult once faced with the ESRD.There are limitations in blindly controlling blood glucose in DN，and more attention should be paid to the damage of target organs.
