Application of Gas Chromatography in Food Pesticide Residue Detection and Control Points

Abstract: This paper analyzes the application of gas chromatography (GC) in food pesticide residue detection, with a particular focus on its role in detecting organophosphates, organochlorines, and pyrethroid pesticides. The analysis indicates that GC offers high sensitivity and excellent separation capabilities. Based on this, the paper suggests strengthening the control of the detection process and improving the professional competence of technical operators to enhance the accuracy and reliability of pesticide residue detection, thereby providing stronger support for food safety.
