[Abstract] Objective This paper tries to investigate the effect of dexmedetomidine on controlled hypotension in nasal endoscopic surgery for general anesthesia. Methods A total of 62 patients undergoing elective endoscopic surgery who were admitted to the hospital from January 2015 to February 2017 were randomly selected and randomized into groups. These patients were randomly divided into two groups, the study group and the comparison group. 31 cases in each group. Patients in the study group were treated with dexmedetomidine intravenously for 20 minutes before anesthesia to perform necessary blood pressure decompression. Patients in the comparison group were given effective pressure reduction for the patients who received saline infusion. The patient's blood pressure and heart rate changes were observed before and during the surgery, and the patients were observed and compared effectively. Results After dexmedetomidine drug-controlled antihypertensive treatment was performed in patients in the study group, the maximum values of systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, and heart rate during endoscopic surgery were (112.4±9.6)mmHg and (70.4±10.3)mmHg, respectively(79.1±12.1) times/min, and minimum were (92.4±7.4)mmHg, (60.6±5.5)mmHg, (62.6±8.1)times/min, and the difference between the control group was statistically significant(t=5.714, 6.012, 5.932, P<0.05; t=7.012, 6.354, 7.125, P<0.05). Conclusion Dexmedetomidine has a significant antihypertensive effect during general anesthesia for controlled decompression of endoscopic surgery, and it can effectively stabilize the hemodynamics formed during surgery, which is safe and reliable, and worthy of clinical promotion.
