[摘要]糖尿病合并抑郁症是糖尿病常见的并发症之一，中医属于“消渴病郁证”的范畴。张玉琴教授从事消渴病治疗多年，善于治疗消渴病及其各种并发症，张教授认为肝气郁滞为本病的基本病机，治疗上应“从肝论治”，而气阴两虚为消渴病的病机之本，治病求本，标本兼治，故在治疗本病时，应以“疏肝解郁，益气养阴”为主要治疗原则，应用自拟滋益方以益气养阴，并联合治疗肝郁气滞之要方柴胡疏肝散，在临床治疗上收获颇丰，多可获得较好的疗效。
