[Abstract] Objective To summarize and analyze the adverse drug reaction (ADR) of Yantai city from 2015 to 2017， and to provide reference and basis for drug safety monitoring and clinical rational and safe use of drugs. Methods A retrospective study was conducted to analyze the data of 31 954 ADR statements in Yantai city from 2015 to 2017. Results Among the 31 954 cases of ADR， intravenous drip was the main route of adverse reactions， for 17 917 cases (56.07%). Patients over 59 years accounted for the largest proportion， with a total of 12 698 cases (39.74%). The most high frequency of adverse reactions was anti-microbial drugs， which caused a total of 8796 cases of adverse reactions， accounting for 27.53%. Of all the ADR reports， gastrointestinal system was the most frequent， with a total of 11 601 cases， accounting for 26.94%. Of all ADR， 18 833 cases were cured after treatment， accounting for 58.94%. The completion of the adverse reaction report was not complete， and the quality of the filling needed to be improved. Conclusion More attention should be paid to the report filling and monitoring of ADR， so as to reduce or avoid the occurrence of ADR and ensure safety and rationality of drug use in clinic.
