[Abstract] Objective To investigate the effect of continuous rehabilitation nursing on the recovery of hand function after treatment of arterial venous flap in patients with soft tissue injury. Methods A retrospective analysis of 60 patients with arterial venous flaps who were discharged from our hospital from March 2017 to December 2018 was performed to repair patients with soft tissue defects. The patients were divided into observations group (n=30) and control group (n=30) according to different nursing methods. Both groups of patients were treated according to the rehabilitation nursing path of arterial venous flaps for repairing soft tissue injury of the hand during hospitalization. Patients in the control group underwent routine discharge care, follow-up and rehabilitation guidance one week later, and patients in the observation group were given continuous rehabilitation care on the basis of the control group. The hands of sensory function, motor function recovery of the two groups were compared at 1, 3, and 6 months after surgery. Results There was no significant difference in hand motor function and sensory function between the two groups at 1 month after operation (P>0.05). The total excellent and good rate of hand movement in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The S5 grade of sensory function in the observation group was higher than that of the control group at 3 and 6 months after operation, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Continuous rehabilitation nursing for patients with arterial venous flap repairing hand soft tissue injury can promote the recovery of hand movement function and sensory function and shorten the recovery time of patients.,
