综上所述，瘦素、ADM的表达随子宫平滑肌肿瘤恶性程度的增加而增加，故在USMT中应用免疫组化检测瘦素、ADM的表达可提示肿瘤的良恶性。另外可进一步证明，子宫富于细胞性平滑肌瘤是一种介于良恶性子宫平滑肌肿瘤间的特殊类型的肿瘤。瘦素、ADM在多种肿瘤中均发挥重要作用，因而有望成为肿瘤病理诊断的指标，也可阻断其作用途径成为治疗肿瘤的一个新靶点。
