【摘要】 目前国内外急诊急救及重症监护医学等领域关注的一个焦点是如何在各病种患者不同诊疗时期评价其病情，比较其治疗效果及预后，评价重症监护的医疗资源利用情况及继续加强医疗干预的价值。从20世纪70年代开始，以量化评分法“急性生理和慢性健康评分系统”(APACHE)应用于疾病严重程度及预后评估，经过不断完善已经发展到了第四代，并成为急诊急救及重症监护医学中应用最广泛的疾病严重程度评分系统之一。
