    [Abstract] Objective： To investigate the correlation between sex hormone levels and insulin resistance (IR)in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Method： A total of 48 patients with clinically diagnosed PCOS admitted to our hospital from January to October 2020 were selected as the study group， and 48 healthy women who received physical examination in our hospital during the same period were selected as the control group. The levels of fasting blood glucose (FBG)， 2 h postprandial blood glucose (2 h PBG)， fasting insulin (FINS)， 2 h postprandial insulin (2 h PINS) and insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR) in two groups were detected and compared. The levels of estradiol (E2)， testosterone (T)， luteinizing hormone (LH)， follicle stimulating hormone (FSH)， prolactin (PRL) and LH/FSH in two groups were detected and compared.
