【摘要】目的探讨吸烟对长期住院精神分裂症患者康复的影响，并提出相应的护理对策。方法采用病例对照研究方法，用RUSSELL吸烟原因问卷对69名长期住院的男性吸烟精神分裂症患者进行吸烟原因分析，用NOSIE观察量表评定患者的生活和社会功能状况。结果长期住院的男性精神分裂症吸烟患者的社会能力、社会兴趣、总积极因子分高于非吸烟的患者(P<0.005)。但精神病因子、迟缓因子和总消极因子低于非吸烟的患者(P<0.05)。吸烟与非吸烟患者发生呼吸道症状的例次比较具有显著性差异(P<0.01)。 结论吸烟影响长期住院精神分裂症患者的健康而不能持续改善他们的社会功能。加强教育,提高认识，丰富活动和培训，指导家属配合，采取循序渐进——先减烟后戒烟的方法，教导患者逐步把烟戒掉，可提高他们的健康水平。
