【摘要】现代心肺复苏的方法是在20世纪50-60年代期间逐步形成，他的出现已挽救了众多患者的生命，特别是1955年原天津医学院王源旭教授体外心脏按压和1956年除颤器的应用。1958年8月口对口人工呼吸技术及1960年胸外按压的应用，使心肺复苏的成功率大为提高。1992年“生命链”的新理念是心肺复苏的又一次飞跃。几十年来心肺复苏的主要内容固定为人工通气，心脏按压及电复律。但是各国甚至各地区的复苏标准有所不同。以2005年美国《循环》杂志公布的心肺复苏指南﹙下称指南﹚为依据，作者就心肺复苏的研究进展综述。
