總之，在ICU机械通气患者镇静治疗中，右美托咪定与临床常用的镇静药物咪达唑仑相比，其镇静效果更具有优势，疗效及安全性更可靠，因其镇静满意度高，且具有镇痛、抗焦虑及对呼吸无抑制等持点，逐渐成为ICU临床医师的一线选择[14]，为促进患者康复提供一个重要的保障。
